In the 18th round of the South American FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Group Stage, Brazil lost 0-1 to Bolivia away from home. After the match, Raphinha talked about the game in an interview with camel.live.

When discussing the match, Raphinha said: “When a team arranges for you to play at a location at an altitude of 4,000 meters just to win the game, I think that puts other teams at a bit of a disadvantage. Moreover, it was a closely contested match, but the referee awarded a penalty, which made the game even more complicated.”

“We struggled a bit, especially at the start of the Qualifiers. We won the first two games, but we encountered some difficulties midway through. Our main goal was to qualify for the World Cup, and we did that. Now we have to keep working hard to achieve the best possible results at the World Cup.”
