Today, in an interview with Camel Live, Barcelona forward Marcus Rashford stated that since leaving Manchester United, he hasn’t felt "any pressure" at the club, and is enjoying a "brand-new football language" while consistently delivering strong performances.

The 28-year-old English forward joined the Spanish club on loan this summer after a tough spell at Old Trafford; he spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa. So far, his move to La Liga has been a success, with 6 goals and 8 assists in 21 appearances.

On joining Barcelona

Q: What’s your take on joining Barcelona?

“I don’t see everything here as pressure. I’m just here to play football. It’s amazing to be here. I feel right at home, like I’m in my own house. I’ve been enjoying every step of my growth.”

Rashford revealed that "Barcelona was my favorite club outside England when I was a kid." He added that during his time living in the Spanish city, he’s taking the time to fully integrate into the local lifestyle.

On integrating into Barcelona’s local life

Q: How’s your experience fitting into Barcelona’s local culture?

After attending his first community event at a local school in Barcelona, he told BBC Sport: “It’s different, but it’s a fantastic learning experience for me. Even small things—like learning the language, which I haven’t fully mastered yet, or getting to know the local culture—are a pleasure for me.”

Since making his debut for Manchester United in 2016, Rashford has scored 138 goals in 426 games for the club and won 5 major trophies. However, he fell out of favor at Old Trafford after being dropped by manager Erik ten Hag. He then moved to Premier League rivals Aston Villa on a short-term loan, before joining Barcelona on an initial 12-month loan in July this year.

On whether you want to stay at Barcelona

Q: Would you like to stay at Barcelona long-term?

“This is a brand-new football language. Like many people around the world, I’ve always admired Spanish football. It’s an immense honor to play for one of Spain’s biggest clubs. I’m looking forward to playing more games here, doing my best to help the team win.”

In Tuesday’s 2-1 Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt, Rashford came off the bench and provided an assist for Jules Koundé, earning praise from Spanish media.

Currently, after five consecutive league wins, Barcelona leads Real Madrid by 4 points in the La Liga standings. Rashford’s goal for the rest of the season is “simply to win.”“That’s what this club demands. The environment here always pushes us to be the best players, so as a player, there’s no better place to be than this kind of environment.”
