The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has officially announced that the semi-final matchups for the 2026 Spanish Super Cup have been confirmed: FC Barcelona will take on Athletic Club Bilbao, while Atlético Madrid will face Real Madrid.
The tournament will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia—a UNESCO World Heritage Site that will host the Super Cup for the second consecutive year and the third time overall.
All matches will be played at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, also known as Alinma Stadium and nicknamed "The Shining Pearl," with the tournament running from January 7 to 11. All three matches will kick off at 20:00 CET (22:00 local time in Jeddah). The specific order of the semi-final matches will be determined by a draw.
The final will take place on Sunday, January 11, where the winners of the two semi-finals will compete for the first major trophy in world football for 2026.
In the previous edition of the tournament, over 60,000 spectators gathered in Jeddah to watch the matches in person, while hundreds of millions of fans around the world tuned in via television broadcasts—demonstrating the tournament's immense influence.
