Selection Rules:
The Best FIFA Football Coach is an annual association football award presented to the most outstanding men's and women's football coaches over the past 12 months. The selection period for the 2025 Best Coach spans from August 11, 2024, to August 2, 2025.
Shortlists for the men's and women's Best Coach are determined by the FIFA Expert Panel.
Winners of the Men's Best Player, Men's Best Coach, and Best Goalkeeper are selected by voting. Voters include current men's national team head coaches (one per team), current men's national team captains (one per team), one professional journalist representative per region, and global fan representatives registered with FIFA.
Regardless of the actual number of voters, the four groups have equal voting weight, with coaches, captains, journalists, and fans each accounting for a quarter. Votes from coaches, captains, and journalists will be published on FIFA's official website.
